Since its formation in 2005, CRE has purchased 36 properties representing a total capitalization of approximately $850 million, including approximately $275 million in equity. Our portfolio currently consists of 29 properties with 6,555 units.
The current economic environment presents a window of opportunity to acquire apartments at very attractive pricing and compelling IRRs and cash-on-cash returns. CRE’s strategy is to purchase apartments with strong fundamentals of location and design in recovering markets that have exceptional prospects for cash flow and appreciation.
